Here in the northern hemisphere things are really hotting up..well, I say really hotting up, I do live in the north east of Scotland, so it's all relative! This weekend the forecasters are claiming we should get to a giddy 16 degrees celcius....a perfect temperature for gardening. I genuinely feel a tingle of excitement as the daffodils and tulips burst into life - so much excitement and anticipation of new growth and beautiful colours!
I hope wherever you are the natural world is doing it's thing to remind you it's there and you are part of it!
My family is coming through a rather traumatic event and as a result I'm not able to offer as many sessions as usual.
Thank you to all my clients who allowed me to cancel their appointments at short notice and were so supportive at a difficult time.
I'm back working this week but will be away again next Tuesday for a few days - your continued support is truly heart warming and much appreciated.
Well..I know it's only November but I thought it would be good to give prior notice of my festive break this year.
My last working day will be Friday 21st December and my first day back in the New Year will be Monday 14th January
I will be accessing my emails over that period so do feel free to email me and I will respond as soon as I can.
The Way I Work
Rather confusingly, and I do apologise for this, I had information on the homepage of my website that was out of date - the statement that I do face to face sessions in the Dundee area is no longer true. My PA is now in touch with my website hosts to remove that information from the sidebar.
I do all my work by Skype, Facetime or Phone - this has enabled me to have more availability for clients in every corner of the world, and has reduced my carbon footprint as I was travelling by plane, train and car to run clinics in 7 locations, from Shetland to London.
The good news is that despite my own initial reservations about not being face to face with a client, clients are getting well and returning to health just as quickly as they did when I only offered face to face sessions.
Remember that Reverse Therapy is an educational process, teaching clients how to apply strategies and techniques to free themselves from often debilitating symptoms; and this is very achievable by phone, skype or facetime!
"Helping others is the key duty for everyone on this earth who is remotely capable to do so."-Joanna Krupa
Reverse Therapists have been teaching mindfulness to their clients since it's creation.
Every day I read another story from a Dr or celebrity singing the praises of mindfulness and the positive effect it's had on the lives on their patients or themselves.
I read many articles on the subject, and today I'd like to share this one with you - it's got lots of good information in it.
The 23 Amazing Health Benefits of Mindfulness
I'm just back from a week of filming in Moray for a documentary film called 27 houses. If you'd like to keep up to date with the production process you can follow us on social media Instagram Twitter and Facebook
This photo was taken in Findhorn at the end of a day of filming. Robyn is directing and filming - I'm the subject and producer. You can find out more about Robyn's work here
It's proving to be a bit of an emotional roller coaster for me (and Robyn too as she has to put up with me!)
I hope at the end of it I have some clarity, and the film helps other people who can't stay still understand their need to keep moving too.

April 2018: Fibromyalgia & Alexithymia Clinical Research
A colleague of mine has just shared this article on our Reverse Therapists Forum. It's from a US journal called, "Frontiers in Psychology" and was sent to my colleague by a lady who suffers from fibromyalgia. This is a very interesting read and ties in with what Dr John Eaton has been teaching and training Reverse Therapists and clients to understand since 2002 - the link between unexpressed emotions and diseases including fibromyalgia (FMA).
Feel free to share FMA & Alexithymia
